THE RED CHORD Part Ways With Drummer, Seek Replacement
September 21, 2004Massachusetts-based metal/grind band THE RED CHORD have parted ways with drummer John Longstreth (ex-ORIGIN, SKINLESS). "To avoid any complications, we'll stick with the simple 'stylistic differences' explanation, because it's more accurate than any other," the band writes in an online posting. "I'd like to believe we're all still on good terms. We do, however, have to cancel our upcoming shows.
"There are a few people filling in and helping out in the meantime to aid in finalizing new material while we find a new permanent member. A big special thanks to our original drummer, Mike Justain, for helping us out the last few days."
Parties interested in trying out can send sample recordings of their playing via audio or video format to the Blackmarket Activities address below or e-mail the band at [email protected]. All applicants are asked that they should be fully confident they can play the older THE RED CHORD material. Serious inquiries only!
